Heartland Alternative Peer Group (APG)

The Heartland APG Program, launched in 2021, fosters a vibrant recovery community for young people and their families across central Ohio. Heartland High School offers after-school and weekend APG activities that provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students, focusing on peer connection and lifelong recovery skills.

The program also collaborates with a Family Coach to enhance parent engagement. APG students participate in local recovery meetings, fitness and health classes, and volunteer opportunities with local organizations like Jordan's Crossing.

Our summer program extends support through community outings, with past trips including Columbus Clippers games and Kings Island.
